BMW 5 Series F11 -Overview
The F11 is the Touring (estate) body of BMW's sixth-generation 5 Series, introduced alongside the F10 saloon in January 2010.
Built on BMW's L6 platform, it shares its underpinnings with the F01 7 Series and F12 6 Series. The F11 offered class-leading boot space (560–1,670 litres) and a wide engine range spanning four-cylinder diesels to the tri-turbo M550d and the S63 V8-powered M5. A significant July 2013 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) facelift brought Euro 6-compliant engines (B47, B57), efficiency improvements and subtle styling changes.
