How we built this model enquiry data.

Source: Internal CRM quote-request data from EnginesMarket.co.uk and EngineFinders.co.uk, combined. Full calendar year 2025. 24,650 unique quote requests across all brands; 5,060 relate to BMW engines. Model-level data is derived from customer vehicle details collected at the point of enquiry.

What counts as a "model enquiry": a unique customer quote request specifying a particular BMW model (e.g., 3 Series F30). Repeat requests from the same customer for the same model are not double-counted.

What this data cannot tell you: model enquiry volume reflects both the popularity of a model and its failure frequency. A higher volume can mean a larger vehicle parc, older vehicles reaching replacement age, or a genuine reliability issue. We do not claim failure rates against the total vehicle population from model data alone.
