Short local journeys at reduced speed: yes, but with caution. Limp mode is designed to let you reach a garage. You can drive slowly — typically up to 30–40 mph — but you will have no acceleration, and overtaking is unsafe. The car will not deliver full power on demand.
Motorway driving: no. You cannot safely merge or maintain speed on a motorway. The lack of power is a genuine safety risk. If you're on a motorway when limp mode activates, pull over safely and call for recovery.
